Every Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:00 pm

August 20, 2008

Cooking Demo by Cultivated Palette!

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Rich, red beets will be the focus of Arran Stark's animated cooking demo this week.

Howly Slim

 Wednesday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Howly performs mostly his own compositions on electric guitar with occasional accompaniment by some of Port Townsend's finest piano and tuba players. His music often references his experiences on the beaches of Hawaii,  sreading a warm, lazy island feel across the entire market.

Youth Booth

Nalim & Djorn Devas will be selling fresh varieties of grosso & pink lavender which they harvested from Fair Winds Winery.

August 27, 2008

Cooking Demo by Cultivated Palette!

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Arran Stark will show us a tasty new way to cook up chicken, a family favorite source of protein. "Freedom Ranger" chickens are available each week at both the Wednesday & Saturday markets from Olympic Pastured Poultry - raised by Theodore Carlat in partnership with Nash's Organic Produce.

Jeanie Murphy and Tony Goldenberg

Wednesday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Banjoist Jeanie Murphy and fiddler Tony Goldenberg are two of the most revered old-time musicians in Port Townsend. They'll perform instrumental dance tunes you probably would have heard at an Appalachian farmers market 100 years ago.

Youth Booth

Nalim & Djorn Devas will be selling fresh varieties of grosso & pink lavender which they harvested from Fair Winds Winery.
