Market Board News

The JCFM Board works hard to address the needs of the vendors and the community. We are open to input and strive to communicate openly with all our vendors and the public.

On December 12 the general membership of the market elected three new board members and reelected four incumbent members. Welcome to Nick Hill, Arran Stark, and Craig Wier who bring a wide range of fabulous experience and energy to the board. Returning members are John Estes, Bob Alei, Ann Pougiales, and Karyn Williams.

In August 2007, the board began a planning process to ensure the market's long term success. Part of this process involves establishing a permanent site for the market, either at its current uptown location or elsewhere. To begin, the board surveyed market vendors to understand better what they want to see in a permanent location. The survey was sent to all vendors and handed out at the market. The responses of the 39 vendors who returned the survey are summarized in the Permanent Site Vision Survey Results.
