Become a Vendor

To apply to become a vendor at the Saturday or Wednesday market, please review our 2008 Market Guidelines and download the appropriate applicatoin.

We're sorry.  We are no longer accepting crafter applications for the 2008 season.  Applications were due March 15, 2008 and have been juried. We encourage you to check our website in Jan 2009 to apply for next season.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to have a booth at the market?

At the Saturday Market, Vendors pay:

  • $30 annual membership fee
  • Daily flat fee of $15/day for a 10 x 10 stall or $7.50/day for a shared or irregular stall
  • Plus, 4% of gross sales per day if total sales are over $100

At the Wednesday Market, vendors pay:

  • $30 annual membership fee
  • Daily flat fee of $15/day for a 10 x 10 stall or $7.50/day for a shared or irregular stall
  • There is no additional percentage fee

     

Exceptions are made for Non-profit and Youth booths. Please review those guidelines for details.

 

Who can have a booth at the market?

  • Growers: One who raises the produce, plants or animals on land they own, rent or lease in the state of Washington or harvests seafood.  As in the case of seafood, vendor must own/lease and operate the fishing vessel and be a legal resident of Washington State.  This may include someone who processes produce grown on their property into a value-added product such as jams, cider, and salsa.

    They can apply for the Sat and Wed markets and get first priority at both.

  • Processors: One who sells processed foods which they have personally prepared on property they own, rent or lease. Priority is given to vendors who process food products using ingredients from Washington farms or waters.

    Currently accepting applications for the Sat and Wed markets for products not currently available.

  • Food Vendors: Offers freslhy made food available for sale and imediate consumptoin on-site. Priority is given to vendors who use ingredients from Washington farms and waters.

    Currently wait listing food vendors for the Wed and Sat markets.

  • Crafters: Those who craft with their own hands products for sale.  Items must be produced in Washington State.  Crafters are juried once a year around March. Crafters only allowed at the Sat market.

    No more crafters are being accepted for this year.  To be notified of next year's application, email your email address to Wendie Dyson, Market Manager.

  • Misc Vendor: Other vendors who do not fit the above categories should contact the market manager. Reselling is generally not allowed.

  • Food & Agriculture Education Booth: One space at the Saturday Market is dedicated to groups offering educational activities and information.

  • Non-profits Booths: Two booth spaces are offered to community groups on a space available basis at the Sat market to put their cause before the public. The space is not to be used for political or religious purposes.

  • Youth Booth: Youth 18 years of age and under may apply to sell their wares at the Wednesday market at no cost.
